Both locations open the Saturday before Thanksgiving and close the Sunday before Christmas. Weather closures are posted on Facebook and Instagram.
The farm sits on Floyd Highway (Route 221) in Floyd County, roughly an hour’s drive from the Roanoke Valley and 30 minutes from Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Look for the red metal roof of the store.
The lot is in front of Kohl’s at Hunting Hills Shopping Plaza on Route 220, with Frosty the 30-foot snowman out front. You cannot miss him.
Grab a measuring pole at the store. The colored bands mark the feet, so you know it fits before you cut. Walk the rows, hold the pole up, tag the one you love.
We shake out the loose needles, bale it tight and help tie it to your roof.
Hot chocolate, coffee, cider, cookies and popcorn in the store. A bonfire outside.

Each fall photographers book mini sessions on the farm. The 1951 Dodge, the wooden sleigh and ten years of Fraser Firs make a backdrop you cannot build in a studio.
